Kroger to begin with offering CBD items in 17 states including Kentucky

CINCINNATI (FOX19) – The Kroger Co. is joining the list that is growing of offering CBD items.

The Cincinnati-based food store chain will start selling topical items like lotions, balms, oils and creams in 17 states, The Detroit Information reports.

Kentucky and Indiana are detailed on the list of 17 states where Kroger will’s sell it new CBD items, Kroger’s Louisville Division Corporate Affairs Manager and Media Spokesperson Erin Grant confirmed.

“Like many merchants, we have been offering our clients a highly-curated selection of topical items like creams, balms, oils and creams which are infused with hemp-derived CBD,” Erin Rolfes with Kroger’s Cincinnati division said. “CBD is a naturally-occurring and non-intoxicating substance that has promising advantages and it is allowed within federal and state laws.
